The education system is fucked. So young children are sent to a 6+ hour 'activity' or 'learning ecpierence' where they are forced to make a very uneducated guess at what they want to do with their lives. Nobody is told that they will be stressed out, or that they will be struggleing with the options they pick in year 9 or however else it works in other countries. The fact that you are forced to decide on what the next 40+ years of your life without enough info isn't the only problem. The reason for school is 'to learn how to be an adult' or to 'learn how to live in the future with a successful job'. However, all students learn if the squareroot of x. How is that going to help students in the future? We need to learn social skills, we need to learn about mental illnesses so were aware of how to help, we need basic first aid training, we need to learn how the govenment system works becuase were not going to search that shit up by our own choice. School is were were supposed to learn how to live as an adult, not how to survive the must unnecessarily stressful thing in the universe. The thing is though, not everyone is able to survive the education system. School and education in general is so stressful. Students are told that 'if you fail ypur exams ypur future is screwed'. Apperanty if you fail a very high amount of fucking stressful exams then you're not gunna be able to get a job. During high school, students between the ages of 11 and 17 are expected to learn more things than adults had to learn when they were in collage or uni. Why do we need this info.
